Plumbing for a new home, from the drains in the ground to the last tap: sewer and stormwater laid and tested in the yard, water lines roughed in through the frame, then every fixture fitted off once the house was finished.

We laid the sewer and stormwater drains in open trenches and tested them before backfilling, then ran the hot and cold lines and wastes through the frame before the walls were lined. After the plasterers and tilers, we fitted off the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry.

Key Areas

Drainage:

Sewer and stormwater pipes laid in trenches to the correct fall, joined with the right fittings and tested before backfilling.

Rough-In:

Hot and cold water lines and waste pipes run through the timber frame and clipped in place, ready for the wall linings.

Fit-Off:

Vanities, toilets, showers and tapware fitted once the walls were finished, then run with water to check for leaks and flow.

Pipework

Copper and PEX water lines and PVC drainage, sized for the house and supported along every run.

Stage Testing

Drains and water lines tested at each stage, before the trenches were filled and the walls were lined.

Working with the Builder

Each stage timed to the builder’s program, so framing, linings and tiling went ahead without waiting on plumbing.

Final Checks

Every tap, toilet and waste checked for leaks and flow before the house was handed over.
